Why Randy Orton Makes A Great Opponent For Brock Lesnar & How To Build To It

The first of four videos this weekend from CSR talks about why Randy Orton makes for a great opponent for Brock Lesnar. Here’s some highlights of the conversation:

Josh Isenberg:

Randy Orton makes the most sense. He’s John Cena but better in the ring. He’s had the success of John Cena. He’s had the main events at WrestleMania. He’s a perfect combination of the strength of Cena, timing of Triple H and agility of a CM Punk or Seth Rollins. What better way then  6-foot-5, 265 pound guy who looks like he can fight take on someone who can actually fight.

Justin LaBar:

There is so much that is going to work in WWE’s favor. Their amazing video production storytelling abilities. Orton looks like he could step in the Octagon. Orton has a height advantage on Lesnar. The video packages they could show of them from OVW up to now. Highlight Orton’s cerebral attitude and the legend killer days. Let’s not forget Daniel Bryan attributed the match that started the downward spiral of his health was that physical match against Orton a few summer’s ago that they legit stopped and counted Bryan out. They can have Bryan doing the sit down to the camera talking about how Orton being vicious. They can have Triple H can talk to the camera as he’s fought both. They need to treat this like a UFC fight in terms of the build.
