Charlotte

WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte spoke to The Wrap ahead of tonight’s WWE Draft, and said she didn’t have a preference as to what show she ends up on:

“I really don’t have a preference because I truly believe both brands will have to elevate their game to be the top show. If I’m on ‘Smackdown’ I want to be better than ‘Raw.’ If I’m on ‘Raw’ I want to be better than ‘Smackdown.’ And there’s going to be six people from NXT, and people we maybe haven’t seen in a while are going to have more opportunities, so it’s going to exciting all around.”

Charlotte also talked about her father Ric Flair’s WWE TV absence, how she feels about being a generational wrestler and more. Click here for the full interview.

WWE Cruiserweight Classic

WWE.com posted the following preview for this week’s WWE Cruiserweight Classic show, featuring the first round matchup between Lince Dorado and Mustafa Ali:

Two high-flyers clash in the Cruiserweight Classic’s first round when Puerto Rico’s Lince Dorado does battle with Mustafa Ali of Pakistan.

Ali has been traveling the independents for years, taking on the best unsigned competitors while waiting for his number to be called. Now that the Pakistani Prince finally has his opportunity on the big stage, will he ensure that he shines when he makes his WWE Network debut?

His opponent, Dorado, comes to the tournament with a well-rounded education inside the ring. He learned mat grappling from technical masters Mike Quackenbush, Chris Hero and Cesaro, and lucha libre from luminaries like El Pantera and Skayde. With the ability to keep it grounded or take to the air, will the golden lynx be able to outfox Mustafa Ali?
