WWE CFO Addresses a Possible Sale of the Company

As noted, WWE CFO George Barrios was part of a WWE quarter 2 financial results conference call today, and during the call Barrios was asked about a potential sale of WWE.

Barrios was asked if the company would consider a sale similar to that of UFC, and Barrios pointed out UFC was privately held so you have to go with what’s in the media. With regards to a possible WWE sale, Barrios said the company is always willing to listen to a great idea if it’s best for their audience and employees.

The Rock Talks His Character in “Moana”

USA Today has published a new article on the Disney animated movie “Moana,” which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Within the article, The Rock had the following to say on his Maui character:

“He’s also extremely selfish and lives for only the most important person in his life: himself. I’ve never played a character with this kind of personality and deep-down heartbreak. With all the characters I play, I’m usually the one galvanizing people around me to get better and ‘Get the job done.’ So this relationship between Maui and Moana, where Moana is the one inspiring Maui to greatness, is such a beautiful and powerful journey.”

In related news, The Rock posted the following on Instagram, noting that HBO has ordered a season three of “Ballers”.
