Will Dolph Ziggler Still Challenge Dean Ambrose At WWE Summerslam?, Dark Match Result Before Tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live

Dolph Ziggler

Following the main event of tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live, Dolph Ziggler will still challenge Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship at WWE Summerslam.

Ziggler faced Bray Wyatt with his title shot on the line, but was successful in defeating the “Eater of Worlds” in the main event. Ignoring advice from Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon, Ziggler put his title match on the line after Wyatt attacked him and both he and Ambrose claimed Ziggler didn’t belong main eventing Summerslam.

After the match, Erick Rowan attacked Ziggler, but Ambrose ran in to save his Summerslam opponent. He tried to fight both Wyatt and Rowan, but the numbers were too much, and Ambrose got sent outside as Wyatt ended the show with a Sister Abigail to Ziggler to close the show.
