Backstage, the trainer is working on Tommaso Ciampa’s ribs. Johnny Gargano walks in and tells Ciampa that if he is cleared, they are going to granted a tag team title match during the CWC special next week.
Andrade “Cien” Almas vs Austin Aries
Aries traps Almas in a top wrist lock. Almas rolls and reverses the hold. Almas whips Aries into the corner, but Aries leap frogs over it. Almas puts Aries in a head scissor. Aries head stands out of it. Aries sits on the top rope and waits for Almas to get up. Aries whips Almas into the ropes. Aries tries to drop down, but Almas surprises him with a basement dropkick to the gut. Aires retreats to the outside. Almas follow. Aries runs into the ring. Almas follows. Aries knees Almas into the gut and tries to toss Almas out of the ring. Almas catches himself in the ropes and poses for the crowd.
