Next month’s WWE No Mercy will now feature a ‘title vs career’ match on the card as it was just announced that The Miz will defend his Intercontinental Championship, and Dolph Ziggler will put his career on the line.
The match was a result of Miz ripping on Ziggler during his own homecoming celebration on WWE Smackdown Live tonight, which featured Ziggler’s parents in the crowd. Miz kept calling Ziggler a loser, and Ziggler ended up responding, and said if Miz gave him one more title shot, he’d put his whole career on the line to get it.
