Kevin Owens was the special guest on this week’s WWE Off the Top Rope segment on ESPN, and you can watch it in full in the video player below. The following are some highlights.

Owens said headlining WWE Clash of Champions, and just appearing on WWE PPV events in general is “surreal” since he has been watching WWE PPV events since he was 11 years old.

On Triple H helping him win the Universal Title, Owens said he’s not surprised as Triple H recognizes special talents. He added it was great to see the fans react the way they did to his title win, and for them to finally get to see Triple H turn on Seth Rollins. On the backstage reaction to his Title win, Owens said he could overhear people saying they couldn’t believe that Triple H returned, and that Owens won the title so quickly after debuting in WWE. Owens said specifically he had signed his WWE deal 2 years and 4 days before winning the Universal Title.

Owens seemed to allude to ESPN Radio’s Amin Elhassan mocking Owens’ son’s reaction to his title win last month, saying that it might be hard for some people to understand why his son was so proud because they don’t give their children a reason to be proud. Owens winked after the comment.

On injuries, Owens says it’s something you can’t think about before a match, otherwise you won’t give it your all. On Finn Balor’s injury, Owens said Balor will tell you it’s part of the job, and Owens is confident Balor will come back stronger and better.

Jonathan Coachman ended the interview by asking Owens who he wants to face at WrestleMania, and Owens simply said “I want Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.”
