Survivor Series

The Usos are officially on Smackdown’s WWE Survivor Series team, defeating the returning Headbangers in a qualifying match on tonight’s show.

The Usos join Smackdown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno, Hype Bros and American Alpha, who qualified earlier in the night by defeating the Spirit Squad. One final team will be added to the Smackdown Survivor Series team.

Dean Ambrose

Following his win in the main event of tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live, Dean Ambrose will get a future WWE Championship opportunity against AJ Styles after becoming number one contender.

Ambrose got the win after countering a Phenomenal Forearm with Dirty Deeds for the win, but the match was not without shenanigans. James Ellsworth, who was barred from ringside by Daniel Bryan and kicked out of the building by Ambrose, somehow snuck back in and made his way to ringside. Ellsworth was chased around ringside and the backstage area by security, but still made it back to the ring and AJ Styles shoved him over the commentary table. Styles then tried to hit the Phenomenal Forearm, but Ambrose used the distraction to counter and pick up the win.
