Ring of Honor’s newest signee, Will Ospreay recently took part in an AMA on Reddit to promote his upcoming documentary, currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.

The documentary, which charts Ospreay’s rise from the backyard to the Best of the Super Juniors, has been in production for the last two years and features some of the biggest names in professional wrestling, from AJ Styles to Paul Heyman, Rey Mysterio to Jushin Thunder Liger.

In the AMA, promoted by the Tag Rope, Ospreay touched upon a number of topics, including why he’s ready to put his interactions with Vader behind him, whether or not he needs to slow down his in-ring style and whether he’d rather face five Hornswoggle-sized Andre the Giants or one Andre the Giant-sized Hornswoggle.

You can find full highlights of his AMA below:

Dave Meltzer has said a number of times that he worries about you, that he feels you could be the next Dynamite Kid, working too hard and too fast, wearing your body out while you’re still so young.

Do you feel like you do need to slow it down? Or do you feel like you know what your body is capable and feel you’re doing exactly what you know you can?

100%. I do need to slow it down, I guess I get lost in the moment. I still think like a wrestling fan, I still think, ‘what do they want to see?’.

When you’re out there, you hardly feel the injuries. The main thing to prove to everyone is that yeah, I might get hurt, but I’m not going to die.

Dave Meltzer released a list of my injuries, but most of them came from backyard wrestling. I appreciate everyone’s concern, but I’m okay.

What was it like wrestling Vader?

Go on Highspots, buy the thing. I was so drunk when I talked about this.

I’m quite happy to leave it at what it is. It was an experience, I’ve done it, it’s on my CV. Would I want to do it again? F**k no.

I loved that you shouted “Pip, pip, cheerio motherf**ker” in your match against Ricochet.

Honestly, hand on heart, I have no idea why I said that. I don’t know why I said it. And now it’s stuck. Why have I said that?

If you get a chance to captain your own Survivor Series team, who would be in it?

Obviously traditional it would be all the Chaos guys, Okada, Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI and Goto.

But if I was going British guys, I guess me, Marty [Scurll], Pete [Dunne], honestly, I’d put Ryan Smile in there, Ryan’s one of the most entertaining guys in Britain right now.

One more? Don’t know, f**king hell.

[Marty off-screen: PICK ZACK!]

Okay, Zack [Sabre Jr.].

Would you rather wrestle 5 Hornswoggle-sized Andre the Giants’ or 1 Andre the Giant-sized Hornswoggle?

I’ve always wanted to face Hornswoggle, I’ve blamed him for so long for killing the Cruiserweight Division.

Any amusing stories with the Chaos lads?

Not got any hilarious stories. I’ve got this story when I was out with Okada, Rocky, Trent, Gedo in Taiwan. Me being me, I was like ‘cool, picture, picture, picture’. We’re on the way back and I’m half asleep, and I all of a sudden stop, wake up and see a sign and say, “OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, PIZZA HUT!”

Okada didn’t understand. I’m a boring person, apologies.

How did it feel to get a Meltzer 5* match at BOLA?

That was funny. That was my favourite backyard match ever.

A wild, adventurous and exciting guy like you HAS to be a chick magnet. What innovative moves do you use to get girls?

Okay actually, I’ve got one. I do the Dirty Dancing lift. Here’s someone you can ask.

Jack Gallagher.

I did that to him in Scotland. We did that for like 30 seconds. He was the best post ever.

Worst bump you had to take?

100% the 630 bump. When I messed that up, I’d never been hurt that bad. I had pins and needles straight away. That was the worst pain ever.

If Neville is the man gravity forgot, what is your relationship with gravity?

It never knew me.
