Strowman charges at Zayn, but Zayn moves out of the way. Strowman runs into the ring post. Zayn rams Strowman into the ring post over and over again. Zayn calls for his ring post dive DDT, but Strowman punches him in the face as Zayn sails through the air. The Referee starts the count, but Zayn pulls himself up by the ring skirt. Strowman crushes Zayn in the corner. Strowman hits a stiff left hand, followed by a clothesline. The Referee starts to count again. Zayn keeps getting up. Strowman whips Zayn into the ropes but Zayn explodes off the rope with a stiff clothesline. Strowman almost falls but keeps his balance. Zayn hits the ropes, but Strowman runs him over. The Referee starts to count yet again. Zayn rolls to the outside and lands on his feet, which breaks the count. Zayn immediately falls to his knees.
After the break, Strowman throws Zayn off the stage into the pit in front of the announce table. Strowman throws Zayn head first into the announce table. Strowman throws Zayn into the backstage area. Zayn picks up a pipe and waylays Strowman with it. Zayn pushes Strowman into the equipment cases. Strowman grabs Zayn and throws him onto a stack of equipment cases. Strowman picks up one of the larger cases and tosses it at Zayn, but Zayn dodges it. Zayn catches Strowman with a kick to the face. Zayn picks up a steel chair and hits Strowman with it over and over again. Zayn beats Strowman from the backstage area back to the inside of the arena.
