Backstage, Strowman is getting ready for his match. Owens and Jericho interrupt. Owens tells Strowman he should focus on beating down Reigns. Jericho tells Strowman he should focus on Rollins since they all have to face him in the Royal Rumble. Strowman lets them both know that he does what he wants when he wants. He is going to win the Royal Rumble and go on to win the Universal title. Tonight, he is going to make Zayn, Rollins, and Reigns scream for mercy.
Brian Kendrick vs Cedric Alexander
Alexander forces Kendrick into the corner. Kendrick grabs Alexander’s tights and slams him into the turnbuckle. Kendrick misses a punch. Alexander front flips over Kendrick, then hits his patented backflip head scissors. High dropkick by Alexander. Backflip seated springboard to the outside by Alexander. Alexander gets back in the ring and runs right into a leg lariat by Kendrick. Seated full nelson by Kendrick. Alexander fights out of it. After a few chops by Alexander, Kendrick floors him with a stiff elbow to the face. Kendrick sets Alexander up in the corner, but Alexander manages to boot Kendrick in the face. Alexander obliterates Kendrick with a spinning back elbow, followed by an enziguri int he corner.
Springboard clothesline for a two count by Alexander. Alexander calls for the lumbar check, but Kendrick reverses in into the Captain’s hook. Alicia fox runs down to the ring and pushes the ropes closer to Alexander so the hold could be broken. Kendrick dropkick Alexander from behind as he argues with Fox. Kendrick tries to lock in the Captain’s hook again, but Alexander rolls through and Lumbar Checks Kendrick into oblivion for the win.

After the match, Alicia Fox attempts to hug Alexander, but Alexander ducks under the hug and leaves the ring.
