JINDER MAHAL vs. AJ STYLES

The match was already underway when we came back from commercial. Kevin Owens has once again joined the commentary team, as Jinder was pummeling his opponent all over the ring with kicks and elbows in the corner. He dropped half a dozen knees to Styles in the ropes until the referee forced him back. They fought back and forth looking for suplexes over the ropes, but Styles shoved him back and hit a seated Phenomenal Forearm. AJ started throwing a flurry of strikes a big right hand, but was distracted by the Bollywood Boys and got caught with a high knee for two.

Back from another commercial break and Jinder was still in complete control, dropping knees and working over AJ’s back. Styles tried to mount a comeback with a jawbreaker and a few strikes, but got thrown hard into the corner. Jinder put him on the top turnbuckle and punched away at him, but AJ snuck under a superplex, only to run right into a big boot. Mahal came off the second rope but got caught with a Pele Kick out of the air! Styles hit a running dropkick to the knee and a seated flying forearm for a nearfall. Jinder fought back with a beating in the corner and connected with a big kick, but got caught with a second Pele Kick. Styles hit another forearm in the corner followed by the Ushigoroshi for another nearfall. He set up for the Phenomenal Forearm but the Bollywood Boys distracted the referee, and Kevin Owens blasted AJ from behind with the title belt. Jinder hit him with a cobra clutch slam for the pin.
