Samoa Joe is the new number one contender to the WWE Universal Championship, and he will challenge Brock Lesnar at the WWE Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view.
Joe defeated Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor in tonight’s main event; Joe won by technical knockout after he made Balor pass out in the Coquina Clutch. Balor looked poised to win after hitting the Coupe de Grace on Roman Reigns, but Joe pulled him away from the cover and applied the submission hold, and the ref called for the bell after Balor could not answer his call.
