WWE Has Light Live Events Schedule This Weekend

The RAW crew has the weekend off due to next week’s Far East tour. After this Monday’s Raw in Los Angeles they will head to Singapore for a show on June 28th. From there the RAW brand is off to Tokyo for events on June 30th and July 1st.

Smackdown’s weekend tour starts tomorrow in Vancouver. They then have a show on Sunday in Everett, WA and on Monday in Bakersfield, CA. Smackdown Live’s TV tapings on Tuesday will emanate from Sand Diego. It will feature the rematch of the women’s Money In The Bank match.

NXT also has live events with a show tonight in Winter Park, FL and tomorrow in Gainesville, FL.

Female Japanese Wrestlers Starting At WWE PC

Io Shirai is expected to start with WWE soon. Yahoo Japan currently has a story about Shirai losing the World of Stardom title to Mayu Iwatani this week at Korakuen Hall. Shirai had held the title since December of 2015.

Also, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, fellow former Stardom star Kairi Hojo will be starting at the WWE Performance Center this week. Hojo signed with WWE this past March.

Pro Wrestling Birthdays Today

Today is the 34th birthday of Cody Rhodes‘ wife and Impact Wrestling star Brandi Rhodes (aka Eden Stiles).

It is also the 28th birthday of NXT Superstar Billy Kay.
