WWE 205 Live Results (7/25): Neville Returns to Tuesday Night Action, Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann Team Up For Tag Team Main Event

– The man with a plan, Brian Kendrick, made his way out and trashed the crowd for being stupid. He said he’s sick of all the snarky tweets, and sick of getting attacked, and sick of people refusing to listen to him. Kendrick showed a picture of Jack Gallagher on the tron and asked the crowd if they’ve ever actually taken a hard look at him? The picture changed so Gallagher was painted up like a clown. He kept changing the picture so eventually Gentleman Jack was in a full clown costume with the wig, nose and ridiculous suit. Eventually Jack came out and said that it was apparent talking sense wasn’t an option anymore, so instead he’s just going to knock his bloody head off its shoulders. Kendrick begged off and escaped through the crowd, yelling that he doesn’t wrestle clowns.

TJP & Tony Nese vs. Rich Swann & Cedric Alexander

Nese gave us eight reasons he’s better than everyone, and pointed individually to each of his eight abs. The dude is the king of Tinder. Swann locked him down in the middle of the ring and tagged in Alexander, who took down Nese with some chain grappling for a one-count. Nese tried to escape to the corner but got thrown into the air and knocked back down with a European uppercut. Swann tagged back in and the two lit him up with some nice doubleteam offense. TJP eventually gets the tag and trades submissions with Cedric, doing a little showboating in the process. The crowd chanted “please stop dabbing” as he took in the heat. Cedric with some beautiful headscissors takedowns and a dropkick that sent Perkins to the floor, followed by Nese joining him on the outside. The babyfaces lit them up with stereo dives to the floor, with Swann doing an impressive springboard 450 splash.

Back in the ring Perkins took a cheap shot to the eyes then caught Cedric running. Nese ran some interference and allowed TJP to blast him from behind with another cheap shot. The heels slow things down now for the first time, working over Alexander for several minutes. Nese does his sit-up workout spot while kicking him in the gut over and over again. Swann wants the hot tag but they keep him isolated with quick tags and cheap moves while the ref is distracted. More “please stop dabbing” chants. After several minutes Alexander came out of nowhere with a running Spanish Fly. Swann and Nese fought out to the floor crashing into the announce table. TJP went for the Detonation Kick but got caught in the bean with a handspring back elbow for two. Cedric went to the top rope looking to put things away but Nese came from behind and sent him flying to the mat. Perkins rolled him up with a handful of trunks to pick up the win.

Winners: TJP & Tony Nese
