Backstage Segment
Titus O’Neil is in the locker room with his client Akira Tozawa. He talked about their setback at SummerSlam and begins rambling about everything they need to do to get ready. Tozawa cuts him off and says that he’s ready, and there’s nothing to worry about. They got each other all hyped up chanting “WORLDWIDE” and ended the segment with a woo.
Gentleman’s Duel
There’s a table set up in the ring with a candlestick, lead pipe, crowbar, bull rope, and other various weapons. Jack Gallagher made his way out and said that we all have people in our lives like Brian Kendrick that know how to push our buttons. He said it was time for a traditional gentleman’s duel, and that he hadn’t been very gentlemanly in recent weeks. Kendrick eventually cut him off on the tron and called him pathetic for pretending to be tough out there, surrounding himself with toys and props. Kendrick laughed at him and said he’s insane if Gallagher thinks he’s going to come down there and duel like a clown, but said he found a suitable replacement…. Out comes a clown.
The clown makes his way to the ring pulling scarves out of his costume and being ridiculous. Gallagher is not amused, as the clown spits water out his flower all over him. The crowd chanted “stupid idiot” and Jack destroyed him with a brutal headbutt right under the jaw. He went through all the weapons on the table but just decided to clear everything off and try to put the clown through the table itself. Kendrick came out of nowhere to make the save and broke an umbrella over his back. Kendrick then hit a powerbomb to send Gallagher crashing through the table instead. TBK took a mic and mocked him, saying that they both got to beat up a clown tonight. He issued a challenge to prove who belongs on 205 Live, in a No DQ match next week.
