WWE RAW

Roman Reigns will continue his path to the WWE Universal Championship and Brock Lesnar, but first he’s getting a crack at The Miz on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW.

Kurt Angle confirmed the match after Miz and Reigns traded barbs on Miz TV, with each boasting they were better, and Miz claiming he was ‘The Guy’ because he holds the most important championship. Initially, Miz put Reigns over for beating Undertaker and John Cena, but Reigns said he was tired and didn’t get why he was talking to a moron like Miz after last night. Miz bragged about beating Jason Jordan, but Reigns pointed out that he did it with help, and said The Miztourage should be useful by getting him a beer.

Miz took offense to this and said Reigns used to ride the coattails of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, then they got into an argument about a hypothetical Shield versus Miztourage battle. Reigns says he knows the Shield would beat their asses, but Seth and Dean were doing their own thing, and he’s gunning for Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship. Miz taunted Reigns for failing against Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman, saying he’s been carrying RAW since coming over from Smackdown. Reigns got right to the point and said they could fight right there, but Miz said he wasn’t ready and had a pregnant wife who needed him. Angle came out and said Maryse would wait, then booked the match, as well as The Miztourage against Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan.

WWE No Mercy

According to Nielsen Social, last night’s WWE No Mercy pay-per-view had 130,000 uniques and 234,000 interactions on Facebook, and 71,000 uniques and 484,000 interactions on Twitter. Overall, last night’s show had 201,000 total uniques and 718,000 total interactions, which was good enough to make it the top overall airing on the night in the series and specials category. WWE No Mercy was able to beat out the competition that included CBS’s Star Trek: Discovery premiere, and FOX’s Who Shot Tupac and Biggie?

By comparison to WWE Battleground (due to Summerslam not ranking on the chart that week), last night’s numbers were higher than 130,000 total uniques and 343,000 total interactions Battleground drew back, as well as the 177,000 total uniques and 481,000 total interaction that Great Balls Of Fire drew in July.
