Backstage, Kevin Owens asks Sami Zayn if he remembers what he said to him last week. Zayn says he remembers. If it comes down to it, and they are the last two people, Zayn will lay down for Owens. Owens says it is almost too good to be true. Zayn says he owes everything he has to Owens. Zayn wouldn’t even be in the match if it wasn’t for Owens. Zayn knows his time will come. At Fastlane Zayn is going to lay down for Owens. Owens and Zayn hug.
Backstage, Baron Corbin says he is happy John Cena has been added to the title match at Fastlane. Corbin says he owes Cena. Cena cost Corbin his money in the back contract. When Corbin lays out Cena, Cena will look up and see Corbin holding the WWE title and Corbin will tell Cena that he can’t see him.
Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura says he is worried that his dream match with AJ Styles at WrestleMania is in jeopardy. Nakamura wants to beat Styles at WrestleMania with a knee to the face. Rusev and Aiden English walk in. English claims his throat is damaged after their match last week. Rusev says Nakamura broke his Aiden. Rusev challenges Nakamura to a match at Fastlane. Nakamura accepts and lets ‘s Rusev know that when he beats him Sunday it will be Nakamura daaaaaaaaay!
Becky Lynch vs Carmella
Lynch lands a few shoulder blocks. Lynch goes up top. Carmella sends Lynch careening to the mat as the Strausphere. Carmella rubs Lynch’s face on the mat. Carmella tries a tilt-a-whirl but Lynch counters and almost puts Carmella in the Dis-arm-her. Carmella sends Lynch into the corner. Carmella locks Lynch into a rope hang triangle hold. Carmella sends Lynch into the barricade. Carmella brings Lynch back into the ring and goes for a pin. Lynch is out at two. Carmella runs the ropes but Lynch catches her with a leg lariat. Carmella kicks Lynch in the head. Lynch kicks out again. Carmella throws a hissy fit. Lynch attempts a wheelbarrow but Lynch turns it into the Dis-arm-her. Carmella taps out.
