ROH Supercard Of Honor XVII Results: Cody or Kenny? Dalton or Scurli?

Match 4: Sumie Sakai def. Kelly Klein to become the first-ever Women of Honor Champion

Daphne is ringside and got a nice reaction from the live crowd. Lots of confusion early on as Sumie looked to be dropped on her head and the bell was never officially rung. Lots of “Ring The Bell” chants inside the arena. All of the WOH tournament contenders came out to cheer them both on and Tenille Dashwood noticeably looked like she did not want to be ringside helping to cheer. Very sudden finish with Sakai hitting an awkward DDT. The crowd did not sound like they enjoyed the bout when the bell rang for it to be over.. A shame for the WOH finals but once Sakai started posing the fans did give her some praise.

Match 5: SoCal Uncensored def. The Young Bucks & Flip Gordon for the ROH Six-Man Championships in a Ladder War

There are ladders set up in all four corners. The reaction for The Young Bucks was unreal, it was like a bag of Skittles exploded when they hit the ring and the streamers started flying. Kazarian’s TKO on Flip off the top of the ladder was the first move to get an overwhelming “Holy Sh*t” chant. The Bucks and Flip hit Kazarian with a triple superkick while his head was in the ladder after doing the Terry Funk spot where he spins in circles with it. Looked nasty! At one point Matt went to to a handspring and went down holding his back. Matt also looks to be bleeding from the chest but I’m not sure when that happened. Huge gasps as Flip went to jump from the ropes to the top of the ring post, lost his footing and then largely just fell to the ground without being caught by anyone on the floor. As The Bucks climb one of the ladders to capture the ROH Tag Titles The Kingdom hit the ring to a huge chorus of boos. The Kingdom then tease a truce with SoCal Uncensored  before laying them out as well. TK O’Ryan starts to ascend a ladder to take the titles before The Bucks, Scorpio and Kazarian literally pick the ladder up with him on it and dump him to the outside on top of Taven and Vinny. The place is going insane. All of the ladders get setup and everyone starts to climb. Flip balances himself on top of a ladder and starts to kick guys off but Kazarian kicks his leg out from under him sending him face first into the ladder and down to the mat. Flip’s springboard blockbuster to the outside sets up The Bucks and Flips getting the tables out to wild applause. Everything is going nuts. Nick & Flip hit stereo 450 splashes to TK and Sky on the outside. Daniels then got the better of Matt at the top of the ladder before tipping him off, climbing back up and taking the titles for the win. The Kingdom then ran over, took the titles and escaped through the crowd. INSANE AND AWESOME. Period.

Intermission

During intermission I was told by the bar that they were, “finally seeing some action,” because no one was getting up to get drinks during the show.
