Baszler won the title in the second match at NXT Takeover New Orleans, defeating Ember Moon by choking her out to pick up the win. Baszler ended up hugging Ronda Rousey and Jessamyn Duke after her win; Ember Moon’s first NXT Women’s Championship reign ends at 140 days.
