Number 7: Christian Cage: November 13, 2005
No former WWE wrestler benefitted more from his time away from the company than Christian. Debuting and turning heel at Genesis in 2005 showed that he was ready to make something special happen. His time in TNA gave him much needed in ring training, more than his usual skill set, to be a more complex and diverse superstar. He rose quickly in the brass of TNA as a legit player. What happened after he became bigger than the company? He made more money with his return to the WWE, where he finally was recognized as the talented and diverse superstar he has always been.
