Sheamus def. David Otunga:

What I Liked:

Otunga praises Laurinitis before the match to gain quick heat. Well done on his behalf. To the match part, Sheamus controlled most of the match, but I absolutely loved that Otunga basically "went off" on Sheamus. He seemed to snap in the middle of the match, kicking and choking Sheamus. Otunga took a good portion of offense and was not immediately buried. The Brogue Kick hit with intensity. A good finish to a somewhat random match.

What I Disliked:

Just because Sheamus won the Royal Rumble, this does not mean he needs to remain feudless until Elimination Chamber is over. Why not have someone try to one up him weekly, or have him tested with new opponents. Give him the ability to create a streak of dominance, instead of quick 3 minute matches with guys who he has no connection with. Del Rio had Kofi last year, and I was okay with that, but that is even a let down when you compare to main eventing at WrestleMania a month later. I just wish they did not have to basically show him off with useless matches.

In Ring Segment:

Chris Jericho comes out to speak. He says the end of the world as we know it is here. He begins to bash every superstar in the back for stealing what he does. Jericho calls everyone a wannabe, including the fans. He compares his history and past to Truth, Ziggler, and then targets Punk. Jericho says he is the best in the world at everything he does, and does not need a shirt to prove it. Punk cuts him off and walks to the ring. He grabs a microphone, does not speak, and just raises the WWE Championship in the air and leaves. Jericho yells to tell him to speak to him.

What I Liked:

Great heel promo from Jericho. He makes solid comparisons in his speech, and begins to say why he is back. It was not too long, got to the point, and targeted who we all feel and know who he will face at WrestleMania. He sounds real, sounds unscripted, and comes off in the same way he left, as that arrogant and cocky heel that is so smart and different than others. Punk did EXACTLY what needed to be done, and say nothing. He mocked Jericho in the best possible way.

What I Disliked:

I wonder if they should have waited a week or so for these guys to be in the ring together. Either way, I think they would make anything work at this point. No complaints here.
