If you were in charge of any of those companies, what would you do?
If it were me, I would embrace change and get real.
Build toward the future but not beat myself up over a poll and suddenly turn left.
Take a look at all lines of business and shore up revenue streams.
Analyze those that are contributing and not. Make tough decisions.
Revisit some old ideas that may have seemed “not right”. Maybe the time is now.
Get together some internal focus groups to improve in-house communication.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Think about how business will be a year from now and plan for that today.
No matter the industry, the above are things that every business owner or critical manager needs to think about every day. What do your customers say about you and your product or service? How do you react to “bad news” or negative feedback? What adjustments are you prepared to make or not make?
Are you prepared to look in the mirror and face the results?
