Title This: WWE Hell in a Cell Reaction

Randy OrtonRandy Orton Defeats Alberto Del Rio

What I Liked:

This was a great choice to start off Hell in a Cell for a few reasons. You want to get the crowd immediately involved in many ways, especially with Orton and Del Rio's lackluster feud. The match started off with Del Rio controlling the offense and focusing on the arm of Orton. With the strong focus on a specific body part, I felt like Del Rio thrived in this match. You were able to see his aggression and intelligence mixing together. As the match progressed, you were able to see Randy Orton work onto Del Rio with ease, connecting with clotheslines and body slams. Orton hits his usual moves, as well as a beautiful DDT from the middle rope. Orton finally was able to get out of a reversal and hit an RKO for the victory.

What I Disliked:

The match was really solid, but the finish was not. Orton barely hit the RKO when Del Rio flew from the rope onto the ground. The timing was a little off, but I felt like the match was overall entertaining. I did feel like they needed to do more creatively with Del Rio, including a victory. Where do these guys go from here? Also, lately it seems like every Randy Orton match is the same. Yes, he executes every move, but he is not changing his game to stay fresh.

Team Rhodes Scholars Defeats Team Hell No Via Disqualification

What I Liked:

I thoroughly enjoy watching the craft of Rhodes and Sandow. They are very unique in offensive sets, and are able to keep new moves coming each week. They have a great old school feel to them. The match was really good, as Daniel Bryan was the weak link. Sandow shined once again for me, with his concentration on execution and crisp wrestling moves. He rarely misses a spot, and really does a great job at selling a move. There really were no weaknesses here, as Bryan and Kane keep the titles and get DQ'ed. This will enhance the feud even more, and will be able to slowly and surely split up Team Hell No.

Grade: B+
