Throughout Monday Night Raw, Vickie Guerrero was taking complete control, especially with AJ Lee. AJ was hired back, but immediately thrown into a match with Beth Phoenix. She would win, but the match is restarted and Beth beats her. Beth would get fired afterwards, and that is a simple way for her to be written off TV. The bigger part of the night was the "affair" that John Cena and AJ are alleged in. Vickie has footage, pictures, and really gets Cena on the ropes. This was interesting to me for a few reasons. Finally, we get something that makes John Cena look bad. Second, he is not chasing the WWE Championship, and many fans are happy about that. Cena can get back to the title chase at the snap of his fingers, but this will do more for the complete progression of his character. The show featured the power of Vickie, a forward motion with Cena and AJ, and really has a setup for a potential Cena vs. Ziggler match. Am I in favor of it? I will have to see how creative they can get. The affair angle would be better if we knew who the affair was on. There is a small gap in logic. I just am begging for something different, and hopefully they can put something together that is actually interesting.
Sheamus and Big Show go face to face in the ring, one night after Sheamus was knocked out and lost his coveted World Heavyweight Championship. Sheamus came out rather happy, saying that he will be in an all out war the next time they fight. Big Show would face Sheamus and say that he knows he is limitless, and that Sheamus cannot beat him. Sheamus hits White Noise onto Big Show. THIS is what should have been done before Hell in a Cell. I mentioned it numerous times that these two powerhouses need to fight and brawl much more than talk. They are ass kickers, not talkers. I really am interested to see the rematch because their contest Sunday was much more than I thought was going to be. They put on an exciting, compelling, and dramatic match. They only have a short time to continue it onto Survivor Series.
