Kurt Angle On Randy Orton’s WWE Return: I Think WWE Really Needed Him

Kurt Angle shares his thoughts on Randy Orton‘s return to WWE.

At WWE Survivor Series, Randy Orton made his return to the company after he had been sidelined for over a year following fusion surgery. He teamed up with Cody Rhodes’ team and helped them defeat The Judgment Day in the Men’s WarGames Match.

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle commented on Randy Orton’s return. (H/t Robert DeFelice of Fightful for the transcription)

“Yes, he looks like a Superstar. Randy Orton being back in the WWE, that’s the best news I’ve heard in a couple of years,” Kurt Angle said. “I mean, Randy is really special. He’s an unbelievably talented individual and I think WWE really needed him. He does look great. I’m just happy he’s back because he really struggled with that surgery. Yeah, wasn’t getting better he was really frustrated and I’m just glad that he was able to make it back.”

Randy Orton signed an exclusive contract with SmackDown on the December 1 episode of WWE SmackDown. He then dropped Nick Aldis with an RKO.

John Cena Praises Randy Orton

Following Orton’s move to SmackDown, John Cena took to Twitter and commented on the news. He called “The Viper” a massive pickup for the blue brand.
