Devon defeated Kurt Angle to retain the TNA Television Championship. Angle went early and often beating out Devon with his intelluct, as Devon looked more aggressive and wild. Angle is the smartest wrestler in the business and it showed here. He sends Devon to the outside, and then follows up with some technicality inside the ring. Kurt is in control with three german suplexes, but the Aces and Eights get involved. One distracts the referee as another hits him with a lead pipe, giving the victory to Devon. I really enjoyed the action here, with both guys showing the veteran leadership throughout. Angle and Devon worked well, fought hard, and it was a good match. The only problem I had was that the title on the line. It is unnecessary because of how irrelavant it is, as well as the fact that Kurt would never need the TV Title. It would be a slap in his face. Grade: B

Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan defeated RVD and Kenny King in a tag team match that did alot for all of the guys involved. I will say that I expected the match to be much more action packed. Ryan and Morgan will continue to get much of the spotlight, but it was the story of RVD vs. Kenny King once again. RVD is a great guy to get over a young and brash talent. King will be able to carry the match from an athletic standpoint, but RVD has the ability to give him credibility. Morgan came in when RVD got the hot tag, hit the Carbon Footprint, and picked up the win as King looked on. King began to mock RVD after the match, slowly transitioning his heel turn. Grade: C+

Tara defeated Mickie James to retain the Knockouts Championship. This was an excellent match between two of the best Knockouts, or women, in wrestling today. Tara and Mickie were given plenty of time for both to get offensive maneuvers in. Mickie started the action, and then Tara was able to ground James. James hit a spinning kick to the stomach, a few clothesline to fasten the pace, and then set up for the DDT. Tara was able to escape and garner some offense herself, looking aggressive and precise. Jesse distracted James by grabbing her leg, which led to Tara picking up the victory. The timing was excellent, the pace of the match was consistent throughout, and I thought that this was a complete match with an open ended finish. I could watch these two fight it out every week. Well done. Grade: A
