WWE RawThe Undercard

Christian defeated Wade Barrett as we enjoy the return of "Captain Charisma." Christian's return is a good thing for the WWE roster because he can be used in so many facets. Christian is a name that could solidify the World Heavyweight Championship picture, could boost the Intercontinental Championship picture with the plethora of young guys, and could also be a target for younger guys to get a chance to work and learn with a great wrestler. I enjoy Christian for what he is and how he works in the ring. He picks up the win with the Killswitch, which has always been a favorite move of mine. My only problem is what will Wade Barrett do now? He loses twice in two days, has no championship, and seems lost in the shuffle.

Team Rhodes Scholars defeated Sheamus in a 2-1 Handicap Match. I thought this was booked properly throughout. Sheamus had trouble getting out of the gates but was able to get going by overpowering the two men. Sheamus picks up the loss when he tries to finish Rhodes, only to be rolled up from behind from Sandow. It continues the feud with Sandow, one that I think is actually going to help both guys.

Grade: C+

Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan when the referee stops the match due to Bryan not being able to continue. It looks like Bryan is actually hurt. I really was drawn into his acting abilities during this match. It looked like Orton was more aggressive and ruthless, something that is extremely overdue for him. Daniel Bryan continues to be the best wrestler in the WWE. I love how smart Bryan is in the ring. We know he is undersized, so he uses his feet and his lower body strength to progress the match. I think this is the beginning of a really complex and interesting storyline. Daniel Bryan may not be in the WWE Championship match soon, but I think this booking of him will make him a spotlight each week.
