Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Keep Reigns Away From Cena”

Let Owens Fight

wwe rawKevin Owens loses a very quick match against Neville and some would wonder why. I was the first to be shocked to see this match end so quickly and had no idea what their plan was. Well, Kevin Owens was just getting started. They unleashed him and he attacked Neville again and again. We get back from a break and he goes after him once more. He continues to beat him down until Dean Ambrose comes out and makes the save.

I like this, I really do. Kevin Owens cannot be the traditional heel that always backs away from a fight. He was built in NXT one way and has transitioned into another guy on Raw and Smackdown. You can slightly alter him to adapt to the main roster, but you need to utilize his best asset and that is his unique build and size. He looks like someone that would beat you down in a bar fight. WWE needs to continue to push Owens in this manner.

Sasha Banks defeated Becky Lynch

A good 10-15 minute Divas match is always enjoyable when you have talent like this. Sasha and Becky worked very well together and the focus was off of the champion for just a week. Good call, as Sasha locks in the Bank Statement only for Lynch to roll out of it. Banks resorts to grabbing the tights and picks up the victory via pinfall.

I liked this match because it really showed another side of Becky Lynch. She is really, really good. Unfortunately, she is stuck behind Paige, Charlotte and Sasha in terms of a fully developed gimmick. We know what to expect out of those women, but are still unsure what WWE wants to do with Becky. I think you need to continue to have her split from Charlotte slowly. WWE needs to let Becky go on her own, with Charlotte becoming the full-fledged heel. It only makes sense.
