WATCH: Which Titles Should Be On Raw And Smackdown? – WWE Brand Split Fantasy Draft Part II

The WWE brand split is happening, and this is episode two of how I – WrestleTalk’s Oli Davis – would stack the decks in equal favour. The idea is to fantasy draft how each show would appear, without making one the lesser brand.

Episode 1 was all about Presentation – the set, the intro themes and the announcers – and this one is all about content. I.e. what belts and divisions would actually be on each show.

I wouldn’t have two world champions – one for each show – because it devalues the belts, nor would I have a roaming title holder that could appear on both brands. As Ghostbusters number one rules states: never cross the streams. So in the WWE Championship’s place, there would be two newly created brand belts: The Raw Championship, and the Smackdown Championship.

For the mid-card belts, the Intercontinental title would go to Smackdown and the US title to Raw…but then it gets tricky. The championships we’ve discussed so far are essentially the same belts, just different versions. For the other championships, we’re talking about entire divisions.

To see how Oli would split the current WWE titles across Raw and Smackdown, and which new divisions he’d introduce, watch the video above!
