Unlikely Alliance Teased Against The Bloodline After Major WWE SmackDown Split

Before the June 26 episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa looked like the leader of one of the strongest groups on the roster. By the end of the night, he had lost everything. After the remaining members of MFT turned their backs on him, Sikoa made a surprising offer to one of his former rivals, LA Knight.

The segment hinted at an unlikely partnership, even though Knight wasn’t ready to accept it.

Sikoa’s problems started during a backstage segment at London’s O2 Arena. Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga confronted him and blamed him for losing the WWE Tag Team Championships to Damian Priest and R-Truth the week before. They also questioned why he helped LA Knight beat Jimmy Uso on RAW, saying he had become too focused on Roman Reigns.

Tama told Solo Sikoa that “the elders” had already made their decision and they were finished with him. The moment officially ended the group.

Solo Sikoa offers to team up with LA Knight against The Bloodline

Later in the show, LA Knight came to the ring to talk about his win over Jimmy Uso on RAW. Knight admitted Jimmy was the only Bloodline member he respected and wanted to know why Sikoa helped him win.

Sikoa admitted everything had changed. He said his own family had abandoned him and admitted he wasn’t there to attack Knight. Knight didn’t believe him. He asked if Sikoa was just trying to find his way back into the Bloodline.

That seemed to hit a nerve.

Sikoa said he hated the family, wished he had never joined the Bloodline, and now couldn’t stand Reigns, Jacob Fatu, or The Usos. He then told Knight they both had the same enemies. Sikoa said he had no allies left and nothing to lose. He suggested they work together against the Bloodline and watch each other’s backs.

Knight admitted the idea actually made some sense. He agreed that he hated the Bloodline, knew he was usually outnumbered, and even admitted having backup wouldn’t be a bad thing.

But he still wasn’t convinced.

Knight reminded Sikoa that plenty of Bloodline members had turned against Roman Reigns before, only to go back later. He said there was no reason to believe Sikoa would be any different.

After thinking about it for a moment, Knight rejected the offer and said he would keep fighting on his own.

The two didn’t become allies, but WWE clearly teased the possibility of them working together in the future. If The Bloodline keeps getting stronger, Knight may eventually have to rethink Sikoa’s offer.
