WWE RAW Results (1/10): Punk/Nexus, Cena Speaks Out!

Truth gets pissed off and tries to talk to the ref about what happened, then leaves the ring as Alberto gets a mic. He gets back in the ring and says that’s another victory, but they already know that. He says his destiny is to win the Royal Rumble and go to Wrestlemania, but tonight they are in Nashville, and says they don’t know anything about music and culture. He mocks Justin Bieber, hip hop and country music, and says they know about music and culture in Mexico. Alberto says he wants to show them the real music, the mariachi music, and he tells Ricardo to sing, but Ricardo tries to say he can’t because of his mouth. He finally gets on the mic and sings a really bad "La Cucaracha" and dances and the crowd boos.

Cole and Lawler are talking about the Miz attacking Lawler two weeks ago when Cole gets an email and the crowd boos (and starts a "we want JR" chant.) The email says Cole has been getting alot of criticism lately, and eventhough he is a self centered jerk, he is doing a great job and speaks out against popular opinion. He is witty, high intelligent and handsome, and… Lawler finally cuts him off and says he received a message from the WWE Universe, and he tells Cole to shut up. He says no one would ever say that about Cole, and says he is really a coward. Cole says Lawler can’t touch him or he will be fired, and Lawler closes the laptop and walks away, but another message comes in. The message says neither Lawler or Cole are cowards, and Lawler can prove it when he teams up with Randy Orton to take on Miz and Alex Riley.

We go backstage to the Nexus locker room, and Punk says McGillicutty passed and showed courage, but Husky is up next. He tells him his test is to get whipped three times by each member with a leather strap, and he tells Punk he accepts and turns around. Punk tells him to take the shirt off, and he listens and tells them to do it. He takes the first three from Otunga, then Gabriel hits him, followed by Slater and Husky drops to his knees. Punk tells them to pick him back up, and he whips him eight more times and stares at him as he winces in pain while leaning in front of the lockers.

Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry vs Ted DiBiase & Tyson Kidd

Bryan lights up Ted with kicks in the corner, but Ted dumps him outside and allows Kidd to kick him, then Ted gets in back inside and makes the tag. After Ted tags back in Bryan fights out of a headlock and knocks him down, then they both exchange tags. Henry rushes Kidd in the corner but misses a splash, and Kidd and Ted hit a double dropkick but can’t knock Henry down. Henry recovers and hits the World’s Strongest Slam to pick up the win.

Winners – Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry
