WWE House Show Results (3/21): Sacramento, California

The Undertaker, Edge, and Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho, CM Punk, and Luke Gallows.  Best match of the night by far.  Punk and the Straight Edge Society’s heat was off the charts to the point that the promo was inaudible at points because of the crowd reaction.  Serena attempted to speak and forget it….she couldn’t get a word in as it was Vickie Guerrero level heat when she was trying to speak.  Jericho is a master.  The man didn’t even need to say one word prior to the start of the match and his heat was slightly below Punk’s.  The pop for Edge was huge but Mysterio’s was off the charts.  As for UT, huge pop but the guy is not moving well at all.  I noticed that he kept hitting his hip while he was standing on the apron.  Nonetheless, he did all of his "crowd pleasing" spots which couldn’t be good for him (old school, big boot, giant leg drop).  He fired up at the finish and went crazy on the heels but he looked tired.  Bless him…..he’s a legend and I appreciate what he’s done.  Crowd started chanting "Spear" prior to the match without any provocation so it appears the move is getting over as planned.  The finish saw Jericho get speared by Edge.  Punk and Gallows received a double 619 from Mysterio with Punk turning and walking into UT’s choke slam for the pin.

Best Match: The Undertaker, Edge, and Rey Mysterio v. Chris Jericho, CM Punk, and Luke Gallows

Worst Match: Kane v. Ezekiel Jackson

Biggest Pop

1. Rey Mysterio

2. Undertaker

3. Edge

Biggest Heat

1. CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society

2. Chris Jericho

3. Michelle McCool

Most entertaining moment: CM Punk gyrating like Ravishing Rick Rude while Serena stripped his t-shirt off prior to the lock up in the main event.

Honorable mention most entertaining moment: Chris Jericho finally grabbing the microphone and telling the Sacramento crowd that he was going to call INS and have half the crowd deported because of their heritage.

All in all, a good night where the athletes clearly kept it safe to make it to the big show next weekend.  On a personal note, it felt great to be a fan again.
