Update on Matt Hardy's Injury, Edge Speaks on His Health

Matt Hardy has noted on his Twitter account at twitter.com/matthardybrand that he met with a doctor in North Carolina yesterday to evaluate the status of his latest injury, which is a torn abdominal muscle. Hardy did not reveal the results of the evaluation but did say that he was excited to be moving to the Smackdown brand following last night's 15 wrestler WWE trade.

Edge recently did an interview out in Fresno, CA and noted that he has been pretty banged up ever since his Ladder Match against Jeff Hardy at "Extreme Rules." He noted that him and Jeff are now 10 years older, and that if they had a ladder match 10 years ago then maybe it only would have taken a few days to recover, but he said that it took him almost a full week before he could even walk upright following the bout at "Extreme Rules." He did say that he's feeling better now and doesn't expect to miss any ring time as no significant injuries were sustained during the match, but it is being said that his current condition is probably the reason why he was held out of competing for the title at "The Bash."
