Rich Tate is reporting at http://gwhforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=news&action=display&thread=2869 that Jody "The Assassin" Hamilton s suing WWE.
I worked briefly under contract with WWE in 2005 with Jody at Deep South for the 1st few months of the company, primarily setting up the building for television taping which was an interesting challenge, as were most things for me in Deep South.
WWE was nice enough to let me out of my contract.
It will be interesting to find out more about the specific of Jody’s lawsuit, and WWE’s responce.

Deep South Wrestling LLC, owned by the legendary Joe ‘the Assassin’ Hamilton, has filed a lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment. We do not have any specifics on the suit at this time, but Hamilton is being represented by James D. McGuire, of Atlanta-based McGuire, Crohan, and Klinger.
When asked to comment on the suit, Hamilton replied, “Deep South isn’t going to roll over and play dead, and I’m not either. It’s time to fight back.”
