Gilbertti Debates Hard With Fans, Asks For More Input About TNA

Chris Cash

Glenn Gilbertti and soon, Konnan, is in the official WrestleZone.com forums going back and forth with vocal fans about TNA’s current product. Is it good or is it bad? We want to know what you think! However, before you go there — or better yet, “while” you go there, I really encourage everyone to check out the audio of “The Great Debate: Konnan vs Gilbertti”.

Matt Boone, Senior Editor here at WrestleZone said that this particular audio was the best radio he’s heard in a long time. It takes very little to tune in while you’re browsing the ‘net and I honestly think you’ll be glad you did.

After that, check out this quote from Glenn Gilbertti regarding Internet Wrestling Fans:

“Of course, TNA does suck to your typical internet wrestling fan that wants to see 20 minute fake fights. But the bottom line, and most iwf’s have ZERO clue about this, to generate higher ratings you have to get people that don’t watch the show to watch. You don’t do that with “wrestling” you do that with visual t.v. contract signings, christmas parties, shark boy vignettes, etc.. these are the things that the iwf’s shit on, however. They are also the things that cause the channel surfer to stop on your channel.

Most iwf’s opinions about what should be done should be discarded and thrown in the garbage, because they usually are in favor of a product that doesn’t draw. ROH and old ECW are perfect examples of this. As for the AJ Styles character: news flash! You will never sell AJ styles to a mainstream wrestling fan as a tough guy! Period. End of story. His character right now is far more believable and getting alot of heat, so anyone that thinks AJ should be sold as a “serious” wrestler, don’t bother posting because you have no idea how a wrestling show should be booked.”
