1/11/13 WWE Live Events Results: Austin, Texas

Josh Isenberg

RybackThanks to Wrestlezone.com reader Kyle for the following results:

1. Brodus Clay defeated Jack Swagger. This was your typical Brodus match, with him controlling the offense and dancing around Swagger. He won with his Funk It Splash.

2. Zack Ryder defeated Leo Kruger. Kruger got some good heel reaction from the crowd, but Ryder hit a Broski Boot and finished him off with Rough Ryder.

3. Kaitlyn defeated Tamina Snuka. Kaitlyn wore a Texas Longhorns shirt while wrestling, so the crowd was loving her. There were a few near pinfalls for Kaitlyn, but Tamina kept kicking out. Kaitlyn would finally be able to finish her with a Gut Buster for the win.

4. Team Hell No defeated The Shield via Disqualification. Ambrose and Rollins worked most of the match inside the ring, as Reigns was on the outside as their "manager." The action was great, and possibly the match of the night, until Regins came in and attacked Kane. He would get the DQ and attack Kane and Bryan. Ryback came out and cleared the ring of The Shield.

5. Santino Marella defeated Tensai. This was nothing but a glorified comedy bit. Santino won with the Cobra.

6. Antonio Cesaro defeated The Miz to retain the United States Championship. This match was a Street Fight, and it was an entertaining match. They started slow out of the gates, but the action picked up when The Miz was able to garner some offense. Both men striked one another with a Kendo Stick, and a table was brought in. Cesaro would quickly throw it to the outside, but Miz brought it back. Cesaro slammed him through the table, hit the Neutralizer, and picked up the victory.

7. John Cena and Ryback defeated Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk. Punk and Ziggler acted hysterically in the beginning of the match, as neither really wanted to fight. Ziggler took most of the action in the ring, as it looked like Punk was being protected throughout. AJ and Big E Langston were sent to the back, and that is when Cena hit the AA on Ziggler for the win.
