This weekend, former TNA and ROH World Champion Samoa Joe posted something interesting on Twitter, indicating that in "alternate circumstances" he would not be welcome back in Ring of Honor, where he worked between 2002 and 2007.
Today I was told in alternate circumstances I would not be welcomed back by ROH. A shame but no hard feelings still wish them the best.

BTW that was not some passive aggressive BS tweet I honestly do wish them the best I still have many people I consider family there.

While we're not sure who told Joe that he couldn't return to Ring of Honor, the official ROH Twitter account reached out to him to deny these claims.
@SamoaJoe you're welcome in #ROH anytime. If anyone says otherwise they don't know what they are talking about. #ROHHallofFamer

Just to clarify @SamoaJoe is ALWAYS welcome in ROH.

Samoa Joe is indeed a legend in Ring of Honor history. He is the longest reigning ROH World Champion of all time, with only Nigel McGuinness coming within 100 days of his title reign. Joe won several awards for his matches and feuds while with the company, especially for his epic battle with Japanese wrestling legend Kenta Kobashi.
