According to the Wrestling Observer, while last week's Impact Westling show, which went head-to-head with hour two of NXT Arrival, drew a 0.95 cable rating, the NXT Arrival special might not have been entirely responsible for the low Impact rating.
Impact last week had its usually strong lead-in from Cops, but the show saw a dramatic drop in viewers at 10:15pm EST, and by that time NXT Arrival was already over. One would figure that if people who regularly watch TNA chose to watch NXT that night, then they would switch back to Impact during hour two, but there was no ratings data to support that theory.
In related NXT news, we reported earlier today that tonight's edition of NXT TV was available to watch on Hulu during the afternoon, prior to the airing at 9pm tonight.
The original plan for NXT was to have the show air on the WWE Network on Thursday night, then have the show available on Hulu on Friday. So it's possible after this week WWE will be using that format for NXT.
