Kurt Angle was the special guest on the latest edition of Jim Ross’ Ross Report podcast, and during the interview Angle revealed some big news. The following are some highlights:
-Angle revealed his contract with TNA expires on September 21st, and although TNA offered him a new contract, he turned it down. Angle said he feels his next wrestling contract will be his last, so he really needs to think about what that means to him and who he will sign with.
-With regards to a ring return, Angle said he is eyeing October as a potential return month.
Part two of Ross’ interview with Angle will be available later this week.
Paglino: It should be noted Angle did not make mention of heading to WWE following the expiration of his TNA deal, but the fact that he stressed really needing to think about where he signs is a hint that he’s seriously considering a WWE return.
Angle has hinted in interviews over the course of the past year that he’d like to end his career in WWE, so if his next contract is indeed his last, it seems likely he’ll end up in WWE if the company will sign him.
