Update on Sting’s “Vigilante” Nickname
As seen on Raw last night, whenever the announce team mentioned Sting’s name, also when Seth Rollins mentioned his name during an in-ring promo, the “Vigilante” nickname was used. Dave Meltzer reported on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that announcers and talents have been told to use the “Vigilante” nickname for Sting whenever his name is said on TV, and that is a mandatory directive, with no exceptions.
Dolph Ziggler Joins Elite IC Title Club
At WWE TLC on Sunday night, Dolph Ziggler became the thirteenth person to capture the Intercontinental Championship on four different occasions. He joins names like Edge and Chris Jericho in that accomplishment.
UFC Star Talks CM Punk Signing
During a recent interview with Severe Art, UFC fighter Conor McGregor had the following to say regarding UFC signing CM Punk:
“If you bring something to the table, you get a seat. You must show up to compete. He has a different fanbase, and it’s a little weird to me that they let an amateur come in. It’s hard to say what his skill level will be. Brock even had one or two fights in a smaller league. I don’t think he should be in this league yet, but if you bring asses to the seats and eyeballs to the screen we’ll give you a shot.”
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
