According to PWInsider.com, there are plans to make some changes to the presentation of Impact Wrestling when it debuts on Destination America this Wednesday night. TNA President Dixe Carter is said to be a fan of reality television, and there will be elements of that type of format on Impact.
TNA’s flagship programming has already become known for its unusual backstage production, presenting more of a natural “found footage” slant to the wrestling show with cameras everywhere, capturing things they should and should not be seeing. There will likely be more of this, with cameras everywhere, capturing stars arriving to the arena, possibly out-of-character, etc.
Reality TV is already a popular choice on Destination America, so Impact Wrestling will be modified slightly to fit in better on its new home.
