Wrestling Legend Working on Autobiography, Which Freebird Members Should Be Inducted Into the WWE Hall of Fame?

Pat Patterson Writing Autobiography

WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson is working on an autobiography, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

There are not many left in the wrestling business from Patterson’s era that could tell a more interesting story. From his early days up and down the west coast, working on top of numerous promotions, to his decades with WWE on-screen and behind the scenes, his close relationship with the McMahon family, creating the Royal Rumble match; Pat could probably put together a collection of books talking about his journey in life.

Freebirds in Hall of Fame?

Michael Hayes has been asking fans on social media about The Fabulous Freebirds being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and whether or not Jimmy Garvin should be included with them.

While when you think about the original Freebird group, Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts are the trio that immediately comes to mind. That said, Garvin and Hayes wrestled as a tag team for WCW for a number of years, and while their duo wasn’t necessarily Hall of Fame worthy, he was also associated with the group during the height of their popularity, and was considered by many (including Hayes) to be the unofficial “fourth Freebird”.

If WWE were considering inducting the Freebirds into the Hall of Fame, the most logical place to do it would be WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas. Inducting Garvin also gives them another man to accept the award, as both Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts have passed away.
