Mercedes Martinez To Be Inducted Into Indie Wrestling Hall Of Fame

Mercedes Martinez will be inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Game Changer Wrestling announced the news in a tweet on April 2. Martinez will be inducted by Lexie Fyfe. She joins Sabu, Steve Corino, Trent Acid, The Briscoes, and Kevin Hogan in the class. The ceremony will be held on April 7 as part of the WrestleMania weekend festivities, and it will stream live and free on YouTube.

Martinez, 43, debuted in 2000. She has wrestled for various companies, including SHIMMER, Ring of Honor, Women Superstars Uncensored, and IMPACT, among others. Martinez had a brief run in WWE, and she signed with AEW in 2021. She has also been featured on ROH programming, and she has won the ROH Women’s World Championship.
