Update: The Very Latest on TNA Payroll Issues, Production Crew Pay Said to Be Over Two Months Late, Morale and More

tna knockoutLast week, Brian Fritz of The Sporting News reported in addition to TNA talent pay issues, there are also issues with late pay for the TNA production crew.

The Wrestling Observer has confirmed this report, and has added that as of this weekend, TNA production crew members were more than two months late on pay, and some had not been paid for the February PPV tapings or any events since then.

Additionally, workers received pay in April for work done in January, which is 70 days late from the 30 day period in which workers are to be paid. When those checks were finally issued, they were said to be short about an average of $1,000 per person.

To add to the production crew frustration, TNA wrestlers were informed they were going to be paid for the March tapings, when the crew had yet to be paid for the February dates.

One production worker noted this is the third year in a row in which there were issues with late payments. While they have dealt with late payments before, being shorted money on a check is a new problem and likely has been a big morale killer.
