John Cena Pulled from Even More Live Events
As noted, John Cena has been pulled from next Monday’s Raw, and he has also been pulled from weekend live events and the upcoming WWE tour of Australia.
WWE has now pulled Cena from advertisements for the August 10th Raw in Everett, Washington and all live events that weekend. Cena is still being advertised for events beyond that, including the final Raw before SummerSlam.
WWE Seeking Latin Female Star
According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are seeking a “Latin female star of the company.”
Officials are looking for sex appeal and Spanish speaking skills, and for a female who can help WWE expand its Latin-based audience.
Attendance & News From Debut GFW Tapings
According to The Wrestling Observer, last week in Las Vegas Global Force Wrestling taped 5 one-hour TV shows.
As far as attendance is concerned, the shows were attended by about 3,000 fans but most of them were comp tickets.
A source noted there were stacks of free tickets available at The Orleans Hotel for anyone who wanted to attend the TV tapings.
