Here are even more updates coming out of the press conference with Orange County Police Department in regards to the shooting outside the WWE Performance Center earlier today:

– The injuries suffered by the attacker are considered to be “life threatening”

– The WWE and local authorities continue to stay in contact about having deputies on-site at the WWE Performance Center at all times

– The Sheriff said that he has reviewed the security footage from the incident and confirms the deputy tried to keep distance but was quickly closed in upon

– This was the third time that local officials have had to deal with this individual. The WWE had filed for an injunction to not allow him on to WWE property but the attacker had not been served at the time of the attack.

– When asked if there is anything that could have prevented the attack the Sheriff responded by saying that when someone has a “fixation” on you can’t predict what will happen
