BS With CSR Podcast

Jimmy Korderas, former WWE referee, appeared on the latest weekly episode of “BS with CSR” hosted by bloggers Blake Mitchamore and Shane Shoemaker. Here are some highlights from the conversation:

On the return of Shane McMahon:

The Story being told is going to be interesting going forward. The best storylines in wrestling always have elements truth thrown into them. Shane gave us elements of truth on Raw. The main question I have right now is whether or not this is a long-term program or just something that goes to WrestleMania or shortly there after.

On the Possibility of a Brand Extension:

I’m a big proponent of a brand split or brand extension. As someone who got to live back in the 2000’s when it worked effectively I’ve seen what it can do. It gives more talent the opportunity to appear on television on a regular basis. It helps talent and it also helps raise the profile of the secondary titles if they are the focal point of separates shows. It also allows you’re World Heavyweight Champion to feel like more of a special attraction.

On The potential involvement of NXT in a Brand Extension:

What if Shane was to gain control of the WWE by controlling Monday Night RAW. Could we see Triple H go away and regroup by leading an invasion of NXT? That would allow NXT talent to be seen on RAW and in front of the good portion of the WWE universe that never sees them.
