Stephanie McMahon revealed Mick Foley as her choice for RAW General Manager, and Shane McMahon revealed his Smackdown General Manager to be Daniel Bryan.
As it was reported, Shane McMahon and Stephanie both started the show by coming to the ring to announce their choices for GM. They cut promos on each other about the brand split, with Stephanie revealing another major announcement, and she was bringing a cruiserweight division back to WWE, and it would be exclusive to RAW.
Foley came out a cut a promo about his history with WWE, including his role as an authority figure. Shane put Foley over, then he talked about how his choice for Smackdown fit the show and talked about being an underdog, and introduced Bryan to the crowd. Bryan came out and talks about how he wasn’t sure he could come back to wrestling, but Shane won him over with his vision, and he realized he could come back. Bryan says he needs to be here because Smackdown is the underdog, and they have beaten the Authority before, and they can do it again.
