Ric Flair Talks About Why Goldberg’s Return Match w/ Brock May Be A Bad Idea, ROH Signs A New Talent

Ric Flair Skeptical Of Goldberg’s Return To Face Brock

Ric Flair recently spoke out on his podcast The Ric Flair Show about why he thinks Goldberg’s WWE return match against Brock Lesnar may not be a good idea. Some of his comments have been transcribed below.

When you’ve been out of the business as long as he has… here’s the same deal, you’re wrestling Brock Lesnar. That’s not a way to start out. It just isn’t. Not that Bill’s fragile by any means.

I say all the time, “Time off is a wrestler’s worst enemy.” He has been off a long time. To jump in there against Brock, who is in peak condition all the time because of his dual roles either MMA or professional wrestling, he stays in top shape. I don’t know that Bill has. Bill looks great but I haven’t seen him in the ring

I think it will be interesting for the fans. I’m glad it’s not me getting in there with Brock. I’ve been there and done that.
